{"id":96,"date":"2006-02-16T18:02:00","date_gmt":"2006-02-16T18:02:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.heatherknits.com\/blog\/2006\/02\/16\/off-to-a-slow-start\/"},"modified":"2006-02-16T18:02:00","modified_gmt":"2006-02-16T18:02:00","slug":"off-to-a-slow-start","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.heatherknits.com\/blog\/2006\/02\/16\/off-to-a-slow-start\/","title":{"rendered":"Off to a slow start"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well my exit from the starting blocks was more of a crawl than a sprint, but I have picked up a bit of speed now.<\/p>\n<p>Here is my progress as of Tuesday lunchtime:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/1873\/999\/1600\/PatchworkJumper1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display:block;cursor:hand;text-align:center;margin:0 auto 10px;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/1873\/999\/320\/PatchworkJumper1.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a> and here where I am up to now:<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/1873\/999\/1600\/PatchworkJumper7.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display:block;cursor:hand;text-align:center;margin:0 auto 10px;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/1873\/999\/320\/PatchworkJumper7.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a> It is coming along, but there is still quite a long way to go, at the current rate I am not sure I am going to be a medal contender.<\/p>\n<p>I also seem to be having trouble with my neck, back and shoulders which isn&#8217;t helping, although the knitting doesn&#8217;t seem to be particularly agravating it. At least I haven&#8217;t had to be airlifted to hospital, another advantage of the Knitting Olympics over the ones in Torino!<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, back to the grind stone, I shall try and update progress a bit more frequently.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well my exit from the starting blocks was more of a crawl than a sprint, but I have picked up a bit of speed now.
