{"id":74,"date":"2005-09-28T17:21:00","date_gmt":"2005-09-28T17:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.heatherknits.com\/blog\/2005\/09\/28\/finally\/"},"modified":"2005-09-28T17:21:00","modified_gmt":"2005-09-28T17:21:00","slug":"finally","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.heatherknits.com\/blog\/2005\/09\/28\/finally\/","title":{"rendered":"Finally!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve finally had some time when we were both in, so I dragged the other half outside when we got back tonight and made him take a picture of me in the finished multi-coloured jumper.<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/1873\/999\/1600\/CottonJumper16.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display:block;cursor:hand;text-align:center;margin:0 auto 10px;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/1873\/999\/320\/CottonJumper16.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a> Unfortunately it was rather dark so the picture isn&#8217;t fabulous, but it at least gives an idea of the effect. It is pretty comfy, and the body fits really well, I think the upper sleeves are a little large but I wonder whether some of that was me stretching it oddly when I was drying it. Next time I give it a wash I shall try patting it into a more realistic shape to dry.<\/p>\n<p>Technical details, it is knitted in DK cotton, none of it brand-named, which I got in a sale a few years ago.<\/p>\n<p>In other knitting news, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whiteliesdesigns.com\/patterns\/lpullovers\/fbd.html\">Shapely Tee<\/a> is nearly finished, just the sewing up to go now. I must be on a roll!
