{"id":218,"date":"2008-03-27T16:51:42","date_gmt":"2008-03-27T15:51:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.heatherknits.com\/blog\/2008\/03\/27\/riverside-socks\/"},"modified":"2008-03-27T16:51:42","modified_gmt":"2008-03-27T15:51:42","slug":"riverside-socks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.heatherknits.com\/blog\/2008\/03\/27\/riverside-socks\/","title":{"rendered":"Riverside Socks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have managed to drag myself away from the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.heatherknits.com\/blog\/category\/projects\/teal-top\/\" title=\"Teal Top\">Teal Top<\/a> long enough to sort of some pictures of things I have actually finished (sadly not a long list!).<\/p>\n<p>First up in my catalogue of socks I have recently finished, is this green pair.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.heatherknits.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/riversidesocks1.JPG\" title=\"Riverside Socks\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.heatherknits.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/riversidesocks1.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"Riverside Socks\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The yarn used was wool on a cone from Riverside Spinning (no internet prescence that I am aware of, they seem to only exist at shows), bought at the NEC last September. I finished the socks in January, and gave the rest of the cone to my Mum. When we were at the NEC there were just two cones in this colour. I bought one and my Mum the other, she isn&#8217;t quite sure what hers is going to be but now she has a bit more to play with \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.heatherknits.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/riversidesocks2.JPG\" title=\"Riverside Socks\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.heatherknits.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/riversidesocks2.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"Riverside Socks\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I am wearing these socks as I type and they are very comfortable, and I like the randomness of the colours, although they are a little more somber than my usual choice of colour \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have managed to drag myself away from the Teal Top long enough to sort of some pictures of things I have actually finished (sadly not a long list!).
